~PACKAGING~

DAMON:
The packaging is nothing special, but the instruction booklet is. To me, I really don't care what kind of box my watch comes in since I didn't buy the watch just for the box. The black leather and soft black leather pillow are nice, but some people would probably want more considering the price of this watch. The tools to size the bracelet and remove the bezel are high quality, and match the expensive watch tools that I own to work on watches in quality. The instruction booklet is one of the best I've seen since it explains everything about the watch. It tells you how to use the bezel, it talks about the construction of the watch, and it explains how easy it is to size the bracelet.

MARC:
The box is relatively unimpressive, but probably as nice as my Omega Seamaster's. Mind you the Omega costs ½ the price of the IWC. Then again, I would much rather IWC invests in R/D then impressive watch boxes. The tools to size the bracelet are thick and easy to use, you can tell that they are high quality even though they are quite simple. Mine unfortunately did not come with the screwdriver, which doesn't really matter, since I am a desktop diver at heart.

The Instruction manual is very impressive. It sure is nice to see the paperwork actually being dedicated to the product and not some generic manual that goes out with all the "time only" IWCs. Also, the wording inside gives you the warm fuzzies about your watch. If I remember my watch was actually referred to as "my companion", NICE touch! Everything is well laid out and explained. I am quite impressed! Would you believe I actually made my wife read the introduction because I liked it so much? I know I'm a lost case…
